Kate Crawford
Kate has been an active researcher, observer and adviser to people using, adapting and adapting to technologies since the first days of the internet in USA, UK Europe and Australia. Most recently she is helping to establish the Digital Earth Node at Griffith University. Her passion is the dynamic ways in which people are enabled and shaped as they interpret the opportunities for problem solving and creating with new tools. She has been an innovator working with the Photonics CRC at the Sydney Technology Park and more recently in engaging a broader community in applications of spatial technologies in association with SIBA.
